About this event
Opioid overdoses can happen to anyone and in any community. Knowing how to respond can make a lifesaving difference. In this interactive community education course, participants will learn how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose, administer Narcan, and take appropriate action until emergency medical services arrive. Designed for community members, parents, educators, students, employers, and anyone interested in being prepared, this training requires no prior medical experience.
Participants will leave with practical knowledge, increased confidence, and skills that may help save a life. Narcan nasal spray will be provided to all participants who complete the training.
