- ➤ On Monday afternoon, Grand Forks Police responded to a report near the Islamic Center when a man allegedly pointed a gun at another man in a car, forced him to drive him to the location, and then entered the center—police detained the suspect, Abdi Ahmedali, and are investigating the incident. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Bob Rost, a Grand Forks County Commissioner, will step down later this month because an IRS audit of NDPERS found that retired public employees cannot serve as elected officials while collecting pensions. He warned that others might also be affected + face similar restrictions. Knox News Radio
