Native American Heritage Month Celebration

About this event

UND NALSA’s Native American Heritage Month 101 is an educational celebration designed to introduce students, faculty and community members to the history, sovereignty, cultures and contemporary experiences of Indigenous Peoples and Tribal Nations. The program will highlight the distinction between Tribal Nations as sovereign governments and Native identity as a living, modern experience while creating space for learning, conversation and cultural appreciation. The event is intended to be accessible to attendees with all levels of familiarity with Indigenous issues and will offer an engaging introduction to Native American Heritage Month at UND.
