UND President Andy Armacost and Dr. Marjorie Jenkins outlined plans to boost local student enrollment in MD and PA programs through the ND 85 initiative, aiming to build clearer career paths and strengthen ties with rural communities.
They said this effort will help keep more graduates in state to meet growing health needs.

Altru’s LeAnne Kilzer, FNP-C, was named Provider of the Quarter in Neurology for her commitment to patient care — she regularly added extra appointments and built a supportive team culture at the facility.
The federal government will award $199 million in a five-year grant to improve rural health care if legislators approve the plan on Jan.
21. The funds will support workforce development, preventive care, healthy eating, and tech integration in rural clinics.
