  • Joanna Larson runs Prairie Gates Farm in the Sheyenne River Valley where she grows organic vegetables, beef and wholesale flowers for local buyers. The fourth-generation farmer is using sustainable methods like rotational grazing and composting to shift away from commodity farming and foster a community-focused agriculture system.  Knox News Radio

HEALTH NEWS

  • North Dakota health officials reported five flu deaths this season — including two in children for the first time since 2016 — and urged parents to act on signs of dehydration and breathing trouble. More than 5,000 flu cases have been reported, and vaccines remain available for both influenza A and B.  Valley News Live
