- ➤ Local clean air advocates in Grand Forks say they worry after the EPA repealed its Endangerment Finding rule that used scientific data on greenhouse gases — they expect the decision may slow progress toward cleaner air in our coal-producing state. Knox News Radio
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Attorney General Drew Wrigley announced a settlement in which Lake Holdings LLC will refund local businesses, churches and nonprofits that received fake invoices resembling real bills. The company will notify eligible entities (those who paid) within 30 days following the Feb. 11 announcement. Valley News Live
- ➤ Sen. John Hoeven secured over $100 million in the 2026 federal budget to boost aerospace and defense technology in Grand Forks, funding projects for satellite operations, drone research, and hypersonic studies. The package also supports Q Station (an innovation hub) and counter-drone tests at Camp Grafton in late August. Valley News Live
