In September, UND Aerospace alumnae and current students gathered on campus to celebrate the legacy of women in aviation when alumna Jill Newby received the Sioux Award for Distinguished Achievement & Leadership.
The event highlighted her career and the obstacles women overcame.
UND School of Medicine was recognized today by federal officials for adding nutrition training to its curriculum; U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer attended the Washington event hosted by HHS Secretary Robert F.
Kennedy Jr. and Education Secretary Linda McMahon to address a training gap for chronic disease prevention.
