- ➤ HOPE Church in Grand Forks will start renovations in October to expand spaces for youth and children and to update its exterior, Pastor Paul Knight said. The project will cost between ($7 million and $8 million) and is funded entirely by donations, with local contractors bidding to complete about one year of work. Grand Forks Herald

- ➤ North Dakota ag and conservation researcher Rebecca Phillips of Ecological Insights stopped work on a project after federal payments were delayed by an executive order on Feb. 26—future payments remain uncertain. She received an $81,000 reimbursement on March 13 but will not complete the work—her decision led to the layoff of her only full-time employee. Knox News Radio

- ➤ North Dakota Hockey announced on Sunday that head coach Brad Berry will not return next season and that Associate Head Coach Dane Jackson will serve as interim head coach while a national search begins—Berry compiled a 227–119–35 record and led the team to five Penrose Cups and five NCAA Tournament appearances.
