The jury returned a not guilty verdict against Nichole Rice for the 2007 killing of her roommate Anita Knutson in Minot — evidence that included her changing stories and witness testimonies did not prove her guilt.
The state Senate passed House Bill 1114 by a vote of 39 to 7—limiting monthly insulin costs and insulin-related supplies to $25 for people on fully insured plans.
The bill is estimated to cost about $834,000 during the 2025-2027 budget cycle and now heads to the governor for approval.
