- ➤ One man died after a collision on Highway 18 and 4th Avenue Northeast near Northwood when a pickup truck and a car crashed at the intersection (the truck hit the car's side as it crossed the highway) and a 16-year-old (suffering non-life-threatening injuries) was taken to a hospital. - ➤ A jury found Nichole Rice not guilty Tuesday for the 2007 killing of her roommate in a northwest Minot apartment, sparking strong reactions from friends and family—while Rice and her lawyer chose not to comment. Valley News Live

- ➤ Altru Health System was honored with the Klaus Thiessen Impact Award by the Grand Forks Region EDC on Thursday at the Alerus Center. The award recognized its new $500 million hospital, which opened in January, and its planned acquisition of a hospital in Devils Lake—supporting local health care and economic growth. - ➤ Representative Steve Vetter does not agree with a House measure that would let incarcerated mothers stay with their babies in the planned Heart River Correctional Center in Mandan. Senate Bill 2352 passed (48–42) and will now go to the state Senate for further review. Knox News Radio
- ➤ The Grand Forks Engineering Department has begun a multi-phase project north of Gateway Drive and west of Interstate 29 to build sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, storm water pond, pump station, force main and streetlights for the Korynta-Lemm 6th Resubdivision development — with paving delayed until 2026.
