GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Gov. Kelly Armstrong has made interim state Labor Commissioner Zachary Greenberg the permanent commissioner after he led the department since January. Greenberg—born in Winnipeg and a graduate of the University of Minnesota Crookston and the University of North Dakota School of Law in Grand Forks—worked as a law clerk in 2022 and then served as a legal and policy advisor in the governor’s office.  Knox News Radio
  • Three of five county commissioners called for firing Correctional Center Administrator Bret Burkholder after the state said he did not follow spending guidelines for a state grant.
