  • UND graduate students from NCoBPA attended a five-day Business & Government Symposium on Capitol Hill, connecting classroom lessons with hands-on engagement in corporate headquarters and government offices in Washington. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The DEA will host its 30th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, Apr. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 130 sites, including locations in North Dakota, to offer residents a free and anonymous way to dispose of unused medications.  Valley News Live
  • The Public Service Commission reminds residents that safe digging in April requires calling 811 at least two business days ahead of any excavation to mark underground utility lines and prevent costly accidents. Fines of up to $25,000 may be imposed if guidelines are not followed.  Knox News Radio

  • Grand Forks native Casey Purpur was named head coach of Moorhead High girls varsity hockey team after eight years as an assistant with Edina, where he guided teams to three state-championships.   • A total of 36,353 hunters harvested nearly 21,000 deer during the 2025 gun season in North Dakota — the Game and Fish Department is now developing license recommendations for the 2026 season.  Valley News Live
