- ➤ Camp Good Mourning offers a day camp with art, music, and gentle activities at Turtle River State Park on Saturday, June 6 for children to begin coping with loss. The camp is open to kids (ages 5–18) and requires pre-registration (deadline June 1) at altru.org/cgm. Knox News Radio
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Thursday evening, the Grand Forks Fire Department responded to a structure fire at a home on 5th Ave N and quickly extinguished flames from a bathroom ceiling; no one was injured though occupants and one pet were temporarily displaced with only minor damage. Knox News Radio

- ➤ UND’s Department of English hosted the 57th Writers Conference today in Grand Forks where world renowned authors held book signings, classes & discussions on storytelling. The event titled Fables & Futures emphasized that writing is for everyone. Knox News Radio

- ➤ UND Athletics sent out a request for feedback Tuesday on adding sponsor patches to Fighting Hawks uniforms and gameday gear (responses are due May 1) as upcoming NCAA legislation allows additional logos on sports apparel starting Aug. 1. Valley News Live
