- ➤ Veterans Honor Flight will add a fifth flight from Grand Forks International Airport in November to offer free trips for veterans to visit memorials in Washington, D.C. The extra trip (aimed at honoring service) will let more local veterans gain recognition. Valley News Live

- ➤ Local rescuers report seven dogs with similar markings were found along rural roads in Wyndmere since late March; four went to Homeward Animal Shelter, one to 4 Luv of Dog, and one was euthanized, while authorities ask locals to report any sightings by calling 701-306-7958. Valley News Live

- ➤ The University of North Dakota named Aaron Harper as its new director of Essential Studies after a national search with input from faculty, staff & students, and he will report to vice provost Karyn Plumm following his appointment by Eric Link. Knox News Radio

- ➤ Crews closed Mill Road near the North Dakota State Mill for summer work using a large crane, and the road will stay closed until late September. Local businesses remain accessible from the north and south (detours are in place). Knox News Radio

- ➤ Grand Forks Central girls soccer remained undefeated on Tuesday as Jacie Reardon scored the game-winning goal and Hailey Anderson-Tibiatowski made key saves to secure a 2-1 win over Fargo South at Cushman Field. The Knights now lead the Eastern Dakota Conference and will host West Fargo Sheyenne on Friday night. Knox News Radio
- ➤ UND Fighting Hawks will split their track and field meets this week – they begin in Azusa at the Bryan Clay Multis on Thursday and Friday and will compete at the NDSU Spring Classic in Fargo on Friday and Saturday. Knox News Radio
