🏥 Health
North Dakota reported 35 measles cases as of April 29, many linked to exposure at Altru’s Emergency Department in Grand Forks on Sunday, April 12 (11:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 5:45 to 9:45 p.m.).
The CDC urges exposed persons to monitor symptoms until May 5 and update MMR vaccine.
🏈 Sports
Adaptive high school bowlers from around the region competed yesterday at Sunset Lanes in Moorhead for a state tournament qualifying spot in adaptive bowling — coaches noted the event built lasting connections among students.
The tournament is set to begin in early May.
UND head hockey coach announced on Wednesday that forward Gavin Lindberg, a Moorhead native from Colorado College, will join the Fighting Hawks in 2026 to 2027 season.
He has two seasons of eligibility and is expected to play with his brother Garrett.
