- ➤ Governor Armstrong signed a property tax relief package on May 3 to help primary homeowners by raising their tax credit from $500 to $1,600 using Legacy Fund earnings, and the House approved the measure by a vote of eighty-six to four while the Senate passed it by a vote of forty-six to zero—this package is projected to cost $409 million during the biennium. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ An unvaccinated child from Williams County has been diagnosed with measles—North Dakota’s first case since 2011—with HHS saying the illness likely came from an out‑of‑state visitor.
