- ➤ Law enforcement officers will begin a torch run on Monday in support of Special Olympics North Dakota, with stops planned in Grand Forks, Jamestown, Bismarck, Minot, Stanley, Portal and Williston until Friday. The run, which began in 1985 to raise money and awareness, will feature over 400 officers known as Guardians of the Flame+ and support more than 1,100 athletes in 11 sports. Valley News Live
