Boden, a Shanley graduate, fell off a golf cart on May 10 and was found unresponsive before receiving emergency surgery for a brain bleed at an Omaha hospital, and he is now sedated on a ventilator while his family asks for community prayers.
Today, community members will gather at the Northern Valley Law Enforcement Memorial in Optimist Park (4601 Cherry St.) to honor fallen law enforcement officers from the Northern Red River Valley at the 13th Annual Northern Valley Police Week Memorial Service.
Local, state, and federal agencies including the US Air Force and RCMP will be present to pay tribute.
Crews will close the Columbia Road Overpass from the exit ramps to Demers Ave. and 2nd Ave. N. on Monday, May 19 to lift the entire deck for bearing replacement.
