- ➤ North Dakotans will vote this November (Measure 3) on a mandate to fund free breakfast and lunch for K-12 students starting in the 2027-28 school year. The signature drive was approved by the state after the Together for School Meals coalition gathered enough support, and the program is estimated to cost $133 million over 2027-29. Knox News Radio
