  • A candlelight vigil was held Saturday at 6:00 p.m. for a 20-month-old baby boy as local community members gathered to honor his memory — details of the incident are still pending.  Valley News Live

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • North Dakota Senator Kevin Cramer joined a bipartisan delegation that visited Canada and met with leaders including Prime Minister Mark Carney and Foreign Minister Anita Anand to discuss defense, economic integration and Arctic readiness. The trip also featured talks on trade disruptions and coordinated responses to global challenges—aimed at strengthening the partnership between the two countries.  Valley News Live

SPORTS NEWS

  • Today, Davies Eagles won the EDC baseball title in a pitching duel against the Sheyenne Mustangs as Wyatt Kosidowski delivered a seven-hit shutout, while Red River Roughriders claimed the softball title with a 13-0 win over the Fargo North Spartans. Both teams earned the top east seed for their state tournaments and will compete in upcoming games.  Valley News Live
  • The North Dakota Track and Field State Tournament ended in Bismarck on May 24th as West Fargo's Michelle Gee won three sprint races and May-Port-CG’s Keaton Saastad broke the Class B 100m record—adding to the growing list of local champions.  Valley News Live
  • North Dakota State Baseball won the Summit League Championship on Saturday with a 4-2 win in the second game—marking their third title in school history—and will head to the NCAA Tournament with regionals starting Friday.  Valley News Live
