- ➤ The North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality urges residents to check the Air Quality Index as rising temperatures and wildfires may lower air quality—putting young children, older adults and those with respiratory issues at risk. - ➤ Altru Health System began tearing down its old legacy hospital in Grand Forks—opened in 1976 with over 69,000 births—to build a larger parking lot for its new facility; demolition is expected to finish by the end of the summer. Knox News Radio
- ➤ North Dakota Health Officials confirmed the first measles case in Burke County, bringing the state total to 28 since May 2; the patient traveled through Williams County, where most cases are reported.
