ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A 19-year-old man from Gardner was seriously injured in a motorcycle pursuit that ended in a crash five miles outside Hillsboro on May 31 at 9:28 p.m.—troopers said he failed to stop on Interstate 29 and lost control on a curve on Traill County Highway 81. Valley News Live
- ➤ On Sunday at 12:30 p.m., the Grand Forks Fire Department was dispatched to a home on Allwood Court where they found a cooking fire that caused moderate kitchen damage and displaced the occupants, who are receiving help from family — no injuries were reported. Knox News Radio
- ➤ A Kawasaki motorcycle speeding on Interstate 29 near the Mayville exit evaded troopers and, after switching to ND Highway 200A then Traill County Highway 81, failed to handle a curve and crashed into a ditch—its 19-year-old Gardner rider was hurt and airlifted to a local hospital while charges remain pending. - ➤ Grand Forks man Ian Kramchuck (20) was sentenced to 46 months in federal prison for a Hobbs Act robbery after pleading guilty to stealing from a business that trades across state lines. Knox News Radio
