- ➤ Two Fargo men were arrested after police found a homemade explosive device taped with electrical tape in a car stopped on I-29 near mile marker 124 on June 11+ a bomb squad confirmed the device exploded while being handled and both men were charged with felony possession of explosives. - ➤ Officials warned residents about Black Bear sightings on June 13 as one bear was seen at Grand Forks Air Force Base near Jones and Steen and later contained—though not secured—near a golf course behind North Spark Defense Lab, while Valley City police advised caution after spotting another near 4th Avenue SW and Riverview Drive.
