- ➤ A Grand Forks correctional officer, Juan Ortiz Lopez, was arrested on June 16 for allegedly smuggling an electronic device to an inmate (a C felony offense) after a June 13 tip led investigators to question him at work and search jail cells that uncovered a cell phone and charger.
