  • After severe storms hit parts of North Dakota, Insurance Commissioner Jon Godfread urged residents to inspect their property for damage and file insurance claims promptly. He advised homeowners to document all damage, secure their property, and get written estimates for repairs — warning against contractors who demand full payment upfront.  Knox News Radio
  • North Dakota plans to invest up to $150 million from the Legacy Fund in land, infrastructure, agriculture and natural resources as part of a new agreement with investment firm GCM Grosvenor. Officials say the move will boost the state's economy and build a stronger tax base—helping local growth as energy revenues decline.  Knox News Radio
