The Red River Valley Fair announced that Christmas in July will bring holiday festivities and themed activities to its fairgrounds this summer (dates and times may vary).

Ray German, founder of German Law (over 50 years of practice), sold his firm and merged with Thompson Law effective July 1.

He will work part time as the firm remains at its Midtown District Mall office on Washington Street and 17th Avenue South.

East Grand Forks and Grafton will face each other in a Legion Baseball game Wednesday night in East Grand Forks + local fans can look forward to a community sports gathering.

West Fargo beat the Royals at Kraft Field Tuesday night, winning 8-5 in the first game and 13-3 in the second before the Royals travel to Warroad Wednesday.

Grand Forks Spitfires beat the Minot Honeybees 12-6 in Minot on Tuesday with 15 hits and four runs in each of the first three innings.

Top hitter Mattison Kwarta went 3-3 (with two home runs and nine RBI) and the team will face Minot again Wednesday.
