Ten-year-old Eberley Wolfgram from Buxton has published her first fantasy novel, 'The Land within the Barn', a project she began on her mother's laptop.

Her book earned a blue ribbon at a 4-H competition, and she plans to publish more in the series.

Montana-Dakota Utilities filed for a 14.5 percent electric rate increase with the North Dakota Public Service Commission on June 30.

The company said rising operating and maintenance expenses and system upgrades since 2022 prompted the request while calling rates competitive and below national averages.
