The Kegs Drive-In has new ownership today as two women from Bagley take charge of the local restaurant (901 North 5th Street) known since 1935 for its classic American menu.
Grand Forks will complete a new Catholic middle school in November 2027 near St. Michael’s, which will host temporary classes for seventh and eighth graders.
The building (named for St. Carlo Acutis, canonized in 2025) will offer a prayer room, media center and labs for science, art and math.
The Grand Forks School Board voted unanimously Monday to enter a five-year lease to finance new scoreboards with video capabilities at Central and Red River high schools through advertising agreements (the scoreboards cost $560,657).
Five new board members were also sworn in, and leaders were elected.
North Dakota will receive $150,380 from the settlement with 23andMe after a 2023 breach exposed millions of genetic records — a court hearing for final approval is scheduled for Aug.
