An expansion project at Ryan Park and Ryan Lake has started with new natural trails and a walking path linking the playground.

The trails and playground will open in late August while raised plant beds finish in 2027 (project cost $350,000 funded by grants).

The state's Insurance & Securities Department announced that North Dakota has received $140,000 from settlements with Edward Jones, LPL Financial, and Stifel this year.

The funds were added to the Investor Education & Technology Fund to support financial services & education for residents.
