  • ➤ A 31-year-old woman from Tokio was sentenced to 14 years in prison after her intoxicated driving in August 2024 in Fort Totten fatally struck a man while she drove with three children in the car—she received 96 months for involuntary manslaughter and 24 months consecutive on each of three child neglect counts.  Valley News Live

  • ➤ Grand Forks was awarded a $10.9 million Clean Water State Revolving Fund loan and a $1.7 million Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan that will fund new water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer systems including a storm water pond, pump station and force main to serve properties in the Korynta-Lemm Sixth Resubdivision—these improvements aim to support safe drinking water delivery and effective wastewater management.  Knox News Radio
