Grand Forks will hold its first pride parade on Sunday, September 14 downtown beginning at 11 a.m.—it is part of a week-long series of pride events running from September 7 to 14.

The Wheat Quality Council tour in North Dakota and northwest Minnesota projects spring wheat yields at 49 bushels per acre and durum wheat at 37 bushels per acre—figures that are lower than last year's 54.5 and 45.3 bushels.

Dave Green from North Dakota State University said he expected a better crop performance from the tour results.

The North Dakota hockey team revealed new jerseys — featuring black, green, and white options — under new Head Coach Dane Jackson.

The updated uniforms include 'NODAK' alternates and a new 'North Dakota' wordmark, and the team will open the season on October 4 with an exhibition game against Manitoba at Ralph Engelstad Arena.
