Hundreds gathered at Binford Rodeo Grounds on Friday, July 24 for the Bubba’s Back Pen Benefit, a fundraiser to help cover Brandon Sedler’s medical costs after a severe bull-riding injury.

Sedler is now receiving care at Craig Hospital in Englewood (Colorado).

The inaugural Katarina’s Sunshine Ride (honoring 6-year-old Katarina Louthain) will traverse 100 miles in motorcycles, cars and pickups tomorrow morning, raising funds for local free tuition, laundry and haircut programs; registration starts at 9 a.m. at Turtle River State Park for $20 per person.

The USDA reversed its decision to drop extra crop insurance protection and will restore the 5 percent buy up option after North Dakota growers raised concerns during a Tuesday hearing in Washington.
