- ➤ The NDPSC joined regulators from Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Montana to file a complaint with FERC—challenging MISO's metrics used for its long-range transmission planning projects valued at nearly $22 billion and arguing that inflated benefit estimates will raise customer bills. Commission Chair Randy Christmann said the action will protect utility customers from unjust cost increases. Knox News Radio
- ➤ McKenzie County landowners who lost part of their property to eminent domain are asking the U.S. Supreme Court to allow attorney fees in addition to the property’s value—arguing that North Dakota law should cover the legal costs while WBI Energy claims federal law does not require such fees for public natural gas development.
