Agristo, the Belgian potato processor, is one step closer to opening its first North American facility in Grand Forks as it plans to close on the Fufeng property at the end of the month — a move confirmed by City Attorney Dan Gaustad and City Administrator Todd Feland.

The project is a collaborative public-private partnership that includes the Northland Potato Growers Association, federal, state and local economic development groups.
