- ➤ Megan Thorsen, 31, is charged with delivering fentanyl to inmates at the Grand Forks County Correctional Center after officers found a baggie of powder hidden in her bra — her next court appearance is set for October 6th. Knox News Radio
- ➤ Officers responded to a disturbance at 6th Ave North and North 3rd Street and arrested 26-year-old Ryan Delorme after a man walking in the area was assaulted and robbed of his cell phone—witnesses provided a description that led police to locate the suspect a few blocks away. Knox News Radio
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ On August 25th, the University of North Dakota enrolled 15,440 students—breaking the previous fall 2012 record of 15,250—and officials said the number is expected to rise by next month's census. Knox News Radio

- ➤ The North Dakota Supreme Court ordered a lower court to review the challenge brought by the Northwest Landowners Association against a law that forces landowners to allow underground CO2 storage when 60% agree—landowners say the law prevents them from seeking fair compensation. - ➤ The Columbia Road Overpass on the UND campus opened ahead of schedule after delays kept it closed since spring—restoring the north-south route that was missed on August 25. Knox News Radio
