- ➤ Police say two women in East Grand Forks have been charged with third degree murder after a fatal overdose on fentanyl on August 19 just before 10:00 a.m.—44-year-old Rachel Boswell and 31-year-old Megan Thorsen are accused after a woman died at a house on 5th Avenue Northeast. Valley News Live
- ➤ A Grand Forks woman, Megan Thorsen, 31, was charged with distributing fentanyl to inmates at the Grand Forks County Correctional Center on Aug 29—court records show she faces a Class A felony for delivering a controlled substance. Knox News Radio
- ➤ On August 31 at 4:32 a.m., 28-year-old De’Angelo Brent allegedly fired multiple rounds at 27-year-old Antonio Locke after a verbal argument with a woman—Locke was on a porch and required surgery after being struck while an eight-year-old was present—and Brent now faces charges. Valley News Live
