- ➤ Rachel Boswell, 44, from Grand Forks was charged with third-degree murder after police found a 20-year-old on a bedroom floor following an August 19th fentanyl overdose—she was released on bond with conditions and will return to court on September 18th. Knox News Radio
- ➤ A Grand Forks woman, Megan Thorsen (31), was charged with allegedly distributing fentanyl to inmates at the county correctional center, court records show. Knox News Radio

They said the map—which they claim cuts Native American voting power—could limit their representation in the Legislature and weaken the ability to challenge discriminatory voting practices. - ➤ Governor Kelly Armstrong requested a presidential major disaster declaration to secure funds for repairs after severe storms hit parts of North Dakota — including Grand Forks — on Aug. 7–8, causing about $6 million in damage.
