The Disabled American Veterans Chapter 2 and Auxiliary will hold their annual live auction fundraiser on Saturday, October 4th at noon at the East Grand Forks American Legion.

Funds raised will support local veterans programs and include food and refreshments.

Fargo English teacher Laura Haugen Christensen said that fall lesson plans must cover artificial intelligence so students can learn about intellectual property—environmental impact—and data privacy.

She urged school districts to increase classroom conversations using the local AI framework and guidelines from the National Education Association.

Grand Forks Central is ranked third and Red River fourth in the latest NDAPSSA football poll; Central beat Jamestown 39—7 last week while Red River edged Bismarck St Mary's 14—13.

Red River will play at Minot North Friday and Central will host Dickinson.
