Gas prices are rising as AAA reports the national average for regular gas is $4.36 while Grand Forks shows regular at $4.13, premium at $4.95, and diesel at $6.18.
North Dakota figures also note regular at $4.19 in other areas with diesel over $6.
🎓 Education
At Monday's board meeting, community members voiced concern about limited paraprofessional support for special education and school leaders announced a meeting with teachers today.
The board also voted to hold a hearing on special education teacher Tara Ulrich's contract amid reports of incomplete resignation and performance issues.
🏛️ Government
Federal officials announced an investigation into UND over incomplete foreign funding disclosures tied to its aerospace research (linked to Chinese aviation companies with military ties); the university must submit required records within 30 days.

Grand Forks Central Football lost 28-12 to Dickinson last Friday, moving to a 2-1 record.
The Knights will host Watford City this Friday at home while Senior Center Gage McNally previews the upcoming game on KNOX Live Sports.
Red River tennis secured an 8-1 win over Central in Tuesday’s EDC match, tying the Roughriders at 7-1 with West Fargo Sheyenne and Fargo Davies; they will play at West Fargo Horace today.
