- ➤ Over 200 veterans from North Dakota and Minnesota completed the second day of the Honor Flight on September 29th by visiting six historic sites in Washington, including the National Archives, Marine Corps memorial, Vietnam and Korean War memorials, Arlington National Cemetery, a military women's memorial and a WWII memorial. Many veterans shared heartfelt gratitude as they viewed founding documents and reflected on past sacrifices—leaving a powerful mark on the trip. Valley News Live

- ➤ Families in Grand Forks and Cass counties now have more college options for high school students after the State Board of Higher Education approved a policy change last week that lets UND and NDSU offer dual-credit courses—allowing students to earn both high school and college credit. - ➤ The Department of Environmental Quality issued a permit to Riverview LLP for a planned mega-dairy farm in Traill County that will be the second large site near the Red River if it clears more hurdles—raising concerns about air and water safety.
