The Northlands Rescue Mission Board of Directors announced that Everett Jones has stepped down as Executive Director because his approach did not align with the organization’s core values—an interim leadership plan is in place to keep services stable, and the Grand Forks Community Vision Awards & Banquet and Mission auction will proceed on Oct. 16.
The community is invited to the 10th Annual Altru Family YMCA Pumpkins for Parkinson’s Day on October 8 at the Altru Family YMCA in downtown Grand Forks—where pumpkins will be on display from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and a noon program, free lunch, and dessert tasting will follow.
Donations will support Parkinson’s programs such as transportation assistance, training costs, and equipment needs.
