- ➤ University of North Dakota officials outlined new security measures for an upcoming Turning Point USA event and local police will help keep everyone safe — the protocols aim to prevent disruptions. Valley News Live
- ➤ A research team from the University of North Dakota used the Meteodrone to check weather at GrandSKY on Grand Forks Air Force Base. The project was led by Professors Mounir Chrit and Marwa Majdi with a graduate student and will help keep flights safe and boost science. Knox News Radio
- ➤ Over 100 people gathered at Josephine Campbell Recital Hall in UND’s Hughes Fine Arts Center to learn about music therapy—a method that uses music to improve health—and to celebrate the return of the Music Therapy bachelor's program after a 10-year pause. - ➤ At a Grand Forks County Commission meeting this week, commissioners learned that the plan to replace the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and Airport Drive with a diamond interchange—designed to improve safety—was not included in the 2027 construction plan of the Grand Forks-East Grand Forks Transportation Infrastructure Plan. They said they will request a meeting with the North Dakota Department of Transportation to learn why the project was removed from plans. Knox News Radio
