North Dakota horse owners are warned of possible virus exposure from recent rodeo events in Oklahoma and Texas—state officials confirmed cases of equine herpesvirus EHV-1 and EHM in those states while no cases have been reported in North Dakota.
Owners who traveled to these events are urged to contact the state veterinarian’s office for guidance on isolation and monitoring.
