Gavin Fitzgerald, a third-year psychology student, showed research on doing many tasks at once at UND’s fall Undergraduate Showcase.

He used tasks like memorizing letters, solving number problems, and controlling a joystick (which mimicked flying) to learn about his brain and plan a future in neuroscience.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation issued a no travel advisory affecting Grand Forks, Devils Lake and nearby areas as winter weather moves through the region — residents are encouraged to check updated road conditions today.

NDDOT officials explained that road closures on I-29 are driven by forecasted weather, low visibility, strong winds, and parking concerns—factors they assess with highway patrol during winter storms.

The process differentiates no travel advisories from full closures to protect drivers.
