- ➤ North Dakota reported 35 measles cases as of April 29, many linked to exposure at Altru’s Emergency Department in Grand Forks on Sunday, April 12 (11:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 5:45 to 9:45 p.m.). The CDC urges exposed persons to monitor symptoms until May 5 and update MMR vaccine. Valley News Live
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Adaptive high school bowlers from around the region competed yesterday at Sunset Lanes in Moorhead for a state tournament qualifying spot in adaptive bowling — coaches noted the event built lasting connections among students. The tournament is set to begin in early May. Valley News Live
- ➤ UND head hockey coach announced on Wednesday that forward Gavin Lindberg, a Moorhead native from Colorado College, will join the Fighting Hawks in 2026 to 2027 season. He has two seasons of eligibility and is expected to play with his brother Garrett. Knox News Radio
