The 2025 Red River Valley Fair ended the 10 Best Days of Summer with 143,740 guests, making it the second-highest attendance in its history.

Two North Dakota tribes—Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa and Spirit Lake Nation—and tribal citizens asked the U.S. Supreme Court to keep the state’s legislative district map in place while it reviews their lawsuit alleging that the 2021 redistricting diluted Indigenous votes.

A district court ruled the map discriminatory in 2023 but the 8th Circuit later reversed the decision, and the Court’s review may affect future redistricting.
