- ➤ Crews responded to a vehicle fire at a home in Rhinehart Township in East Grand Forks on Wednesday night just before 5 p.m.—they contained the blaze before it spread, with no injuries, further damage, or a reported cause and the burning vehicle set for scrapping. Valley News Live

- ➤ A Grand Forks officer recognized Jeremy Suedel, 42, with two active district warrants and when he fled near 1100 4th Ave North, multiple patrol units set up a perimeter and, with the homeowner’s consent, searched a residence on the 1100 block of 5th Ave North—officers located and arrested him in the basement before taking him to the Grand Forks County Correctional Center.
