- ➤ On August 7th at 9 a.m., a Grand Forks woman died on County Road 17 in Polk County when her SUV collided with a Peterbilt semi—27-year-old Tyler James Shaver was taken to Altura Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and authorities will release her name at noon today. Valley News Live

- ➤ A man from Minot was taken into custody on August 5 after allegedly assaulting hospital staff at Altru Behavioral Health in Grand Forks.
